FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: each break module is formed by monoblock cassette having form of rectangular parallelepiped and manufactured from plastic material that is put into proper compartment of base plate. Mentioned cassette includes as minimum one immobile contact, arc chute and pair of contact inserts ensuring connection with terminal and release module of same pole. Module of mechanical drive includes unit of change-over rod and mechanism and is reliably anchored on cover. Rotary releasing rod rests against fixing means arranged on lower surface of cover. Assemblage of recesses and openings is provided in gaskets of base plate in the capacity of first surfaces of bearings correspondingly for change-over rod and releasing rod when first subunit made up of base plate with collection of break and release modules is joined to second subunit formed by cover on which module of mechanical drive, releasing rod and latch are mounted. EFFECT: invention makes it feasible to build up several types of switches from modules having standard dimensions. 5 cl, 16 dwg
