<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle distance alarming device capable of intuitively recognizing the increase in the possibility of coming into contact with a vehicle in front. SOLUTION: An alarm display part 12 is composed of a red alarm lamp 12a, a yellow alarm lamp 12b and a green alarm lamp 12c which are arranged at positions near a front vehicle display part 11 in the order of the alarm lamps 12a, 12b and 12c. The alarm lamps 12a, 12b and 12c are in a trapezoidal shape while the sizes of respective bottom sides are large in the order of the alarm lamps 12c, 12b and 12a. The alarm display part 12 consisting of the alarm lamps 12a, 12b and 12c is also in the trapezoidal shape. A numerical value display part 13 displays one of an inter-vehicle distance with the vehicle in front, inter-vehicle time, a relative speed, sensitivity of alarm generation, a magnitude of alarming sound and an error display by a numerical value. A following travel display part 14 indicates the alarm generation sensitivity in an analog manner by lighting one of plural marks. A standstill object alarming part 15 indicates an alarm for a standstill object by the red alarm lamp and the following travel display part 16 indicates whether or not a following travel function is set by the green alarm lamp.</p> |
