<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a toner container from being mounted by mistake by forming toner hoppers and toner containers mounted therein into complementary connected structure by color phases. SOLUTION: A toner feeder 260 is provided with a toner container identification means for identifying four toner containers 261a-261d respectively containing toner with color phases of Y, M, C, K. The toner container identification means is formed of complementary connected structure of four toner hoppers 262a-262d and four toner containers 261a-261d respectively mounted therein. Four toner hoppers 262a-262d and four toner containers 261a-261d have structures of mutually different peculiar shape at mutually connected parts. To be concrete, ribs 263a-263d are protrusively provided at the lower faces of four toner containers 261a-261d and formed in such a way that the positions are different by the color phases of toner in the respective toner containers 261a-261d and every toner container.</p> |
