PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a 'black in yellow' pollution or a mutual pollution due to the combination of other colors by making a lamp irradiate a photoreceptor and removing the charge of the photoreceiving body before the next re- electrification of the photoreceiving body, which is performed to expose a next color image, after developing a 1st toner layer. SOLUTION: In a 2nd cycle, re-electrification only by a DC is performed well by exposing a photoreceptor so that the charge of a non-exposed area in an image area is made to lower before the re-electrification. Then, in a n electrophotogrophic device, a pre-electrification erasing lamp 18 is used to expose the image area. Therefore, the lamp 18 is lit when the image area advances passing through the lamp 18. After passing through the lamp 18, a DC scorotron 20 re-electrifies the image area to a charge level which is desirable to expose and develop a yellow image. In this case, an AC scorotron 22 is not used. The re-electrified image area advances to an exposure station 24. |
