摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perforate a master by small stencil making energy by specifying smoothness of a surface of a thermoplastic resin film of a free surface side. SOLUTION: Surface smoothness of a surface of a heat sensitive stencil printing master with a thermal head is set to 10000 sec or more (according to Oken type smoothness measuring instrument). According to experimental knowledge, to obtain a perforating rate of 99% or more by using stencil making energy of 0.05 mJ/dot or less, 10000 sec or more or desirably 15000 sec or more of smoothness is required. That is, 10000 sec or desirably 15000 sec of the smoothness is necessary condition of bringing sufficient contact of a film with the head. Thus, with the master having the smoothness of 10000 sec or more, a gap between the master and a heater of the head is eliminated. Accordingly, the maser can be satisfactorily perforated by the small stencil making energy.
