PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable and excellent press molding of a resin sheet such as a skin. SOLUTION: In this molding method, rotary rollers 7 are fixed and disposed to be rotatable freely, along the inner circumference of a base 4 of a sheet support frame 3 supporting the peripheral edge part of a rectangular resin sheet 2, and the peripheral edge part of the resin sheet 2 is fixed by pressing it against the base 4 and the rotary rollers 7 by clamp bars 5. In this state, the central part of the resin sheet 2 is pressed onto the rotary roller 7 side by a press mold 11 and molded. On the occasion, stress concentration is relaxed by making the rotary rollers 7 rotate in a following manner by the stretching resin sheet 2 and tension is regulated by regulation of a force of rotation by brakes of the rotary rollers 7. An increase of the tension is suppressed by opening the clamp bars 5 in the course of this press molding and the press molding is continued. |
