PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good adhesion properties by forming a composition comprising a strained cycloolefin, a ring-opening metathesis polymerization catalyst, a filler and a silane. SOLUTION: This adhesive contains a composition comprising 15-75 wt.% of at least one strained cycloolefin represented by formula I such as dicyclopentadiene and the like, 0.001-10.0 wt.% of a ring-opening metathesis polymerization catalyst such as [(cyclohexyl)3 P]2 RuCl2 and the like, 20-80 wt.% of a filler selected from Al2 O3 , CaCO3 , SiO2 and the like, and 0.01-20.0 wt.% of a silane represented by formula II. The silane represented by formula II is selected from vinyltrimethoxysilane,γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and the like. Q1 in the formula I is Si, O, P, N, S or the like, or forms together with -CH=CQ2 a cycloaliphatic ring including a 3-membered ring; Q2 represents H, 1-20C alkyl or the like. In formula II, R is a 2-100C organic group or the like; Y1 -Y3 are each 1-20C alkyl, 5-20C aryl, 5-12C cycloalkyl or the like. |
