PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin material extremely rich in decorativeness, capable of expressing a beautiful pearl gloss, and comprising the blend of a kind of resin with the same kind of resin, where both the resins are partially chemically reacted with other. SOLUTION: This resin material comprises the blend of (A) a polyethylene terephthalate resin (e. g. thermoplastic polyethylene terephthalate) with (B) a polyethylene naphthalate resin (e. g. thermoplastic polyethylene naphthalate resin), and has a transesterification rate of 3-30% between the component A and the component B. Carbon black, titanium dioxide, a polycarbonate resin or the like as the third component may be added to the blend of the component A with the component B. |
