PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride composition excellent in impact resistance, weatherability and flexural modulus and a process for preparing the same. SOLUTION: A vinyl chloride resin composition is obtained by polymerizing 99-70 wt.% vinyl chloride in the presence of 1-30 wt.% acrylic copolymer obtained by the emulsion poly-merization of 80-99.5 wt.% alkyl acrylate and/or alkyl methacrylate having a second-order transition temperature of the (co)polymer of not higher than -10 deg.C and 20-0.5 wt.% polyfunctional monomer copolymerizable therewith and having a quasi-equilibrium modulus GN<0> of 80,000-150,000 Pa at a graft efficiency of the vinyl chloride of 5-50%. |
