PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a planographic printing plate applying a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process and capable of very efficiently forming the most desirable silver image which contributes printing. SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate has at least a silver halide emulsion layer on the substrate and a physical developing nuclei layer laminated on the emulsion layer and contains inorg. fine particles having surface electric charges opposite to those of physical developing nuclei in the nuclei layer in the emulsion layer or between the nuclei layer and the emulsion layer. The average particle diameter of the inorg. fine particles is about several hundred nm or below.
