INTEGRATED CIRCUIT COMMUNICATION CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operational abnormality even at the abnormality/normality recovery in power source supplied from a host and the power source of a device concerning an integrated circuit for communication control having a hub function and a device function. SOLUTION: An integrated circuit 1 for communication control is composed of a hub function means 2, device function means 3 and power-on detecting means 4 and the device function means 3 is equipped with a connection information storage means 5. The connection information storage means 5 is reset when starting the power supply of the power-on detecting means 4 and at the power supply abnormality/normality recovery of a power source means 7 by a power supply abnormality/normality recovery detecting means 8 through an external microcontroller 6. When starting power supply from a host and at the normality recovery of the power source means 7, the microcontroller 6 sets connection information while receiving the reset of connection information. Thus, the connection of the integrated circuit 1 for communication control and the microcontroller 6 can be recognized on both the sides.
