PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively copy control a video equipment and an audio equipment by inserting copy control information based on a kind or above of copy generation control information incorporated in the recording data into the transmission data. SOLUTION: Relating to recording right or wrong judgment circuit 36 a transmission origin judges the right or wrong of the recognition of a recording data format by a detected CCI. When it is right, the circuit 36 controls the recording based on detected SCMS, CGMS, and when wrong, the circuit 36 controls the recording based on a value subtracting one generation from the SCMS, CGMS. Further, a recording SCMS/CGMS value decision circuit 35 updates the CGMS, SCMS by one generation mush when right, and updates the SCMS by two generation much when wrong. At a reproducing time, the CCI formed by a CCI value formation and insertion circuit 33 is imparted to a 1394 packet transmission circuit 22 together with the reproducing data from a signal processing circuit 31 according to the detected CGMS o SCMS. |
