PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform a shape, a size of ink drops by setting an ink tank which can supply ink via an ink feed pipe to a printing head having a plurality of nozzles, and letting ink overflow from the tank when an ink level in the ink tank is not smaller than a predetermined height. SOLUTION: A level-uniforming means 50 is constituted of an overflow pipe 51 which has one end part connected to an overflow port 47 opened at an upper part of a side wall face of an ink tank 40 and the other end part connected to a connection port 67 of a waste ink tank 55. An overflow chamber 52 is interposed in the overflow pipe 51. When an ink level is raised to not smaller than a set height of the overflow port 47 because, for instance, too much ink is supplemented from an ink supplementation cassette 45 into the ink tank 40, the ink is discharged to the overflow chamber 52 through the overflow pipe 51 until the ink level becomes not larger than the set height of the overflow port 47. |
