PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling member and a joint filling method wherein the execution of a joint filling work is facilitated without needing a skill and a special technique and further, curing until a sealing material is hardened is simplified. SOLUTION: An uncured clay-form silicone rubber material 12 is shaped in a protrusion and mounted on a mold release tape 12 to constitute a filling member 10 and this filling member 10 is held on a winding reel 20. In the execution of a filling work, the filling member 10 is unreeled from a winding reel 20, and the filling member 10 is temporarily laminated at a joint Pa of a panel P joined at an angleα. After the filling member 10 is pressed against the release tape 12 by a pressing roller of a press jig, the mold release tape is peeled and a joint filling work is executed.
