<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection box for power cable, which is capable of improving the assembling work of a tightening mechanism for oil seal trapezoidal packing by omitting the clamping work of bolts and in addition, can be simplified in structure. SOLUTION: A tightening mechanism, which tightens a trapezoidal packing for sealing insulation oil is constituted of a spring unit/tightening unit 3' formed by uniting a spring unit 32 and a packing clamp 31 in one body, an eye bolt 19 which tightens the clamp 31 of the unit 3' via a nut, a shaft passed through the bolt 19, and a tightening wire 17 which is tied with the shaft via a hook 16. The mechanism is constituted so that it compresses the spring unit 32 and trapezoidal packing 4, when the wire 17 is tightened by pulling down the hook 16.</p> |
