<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic toner which does not contaminate a triboelectrified member nor reduce the triboelectric charge imparting ability of the member, is stably charged even at a high and a low humidity environments and performs satisfactory development. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner contains at least a bonding resin, a phenol deriv. compd., wax and a magnetic substance. The phenol deriv. compd. contains two or more phenol (deriv.)-aldehyde condensation products different from each other in the number of units and the condensation products are chain condensation products, cyclic condensation products or a mixture of chain and cyclic condensation products. The magnetic substance is magnetic iron oxide contg. >=0.05 wt.% foreign element based on the amt. of iron.</p> |
