INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM BETWEEN LAN SYSTEMS AND NETWORK SERVICE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interconnect LAN systems without revising an address system of a conventional LAN system. SOLUTION: Addresses of terminals connecting to other LAN systems are defined in addition according to conventional address system to each of LAN systems 110-140 interconnected with each other. Furthermore, the addresses are defined according to an address system on a relay network 100 so that addresses of terminals of a LAN system connecting to the relay network 100 are made univalent. Mapping information having the cross reference of the respective addresses is stored in communication equipments 150-180 that interconnect the relay network and the LAN systems, data packets are transferred through address conversion according to the mapping information to realize interconnection among the LAN systems.
