PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wrinkles and bruises from developing in a copper foil on the surface of a laminated sheet or a printed-wiring board by a method wherein the portions, each of which lies by a certain dimension inside a prepreg discharged from a drying oven from the edge part of the prepreg, of the prepreg are pinched between a pair of metal rolls. SOLUTION: After a thermosetting resin varnish is impregnated in a base material by an impregnating device, the varnish is dried in a drying oven. The portion excluding the edge faces of a prepreg 4 carried out of the drying oven is pinched between metal rolls 5. In order not to pinch the portions, in each of which an edge face treatment is applied, pinching is performed in the state that the edge parts of the metal roll 5 positions at the portions, each of which is inside from the edge part by a certain dimension. For example, when the width of a base material is 1,000 mm, the dimension of at least either one of the metal rolls 5 is 980-990 mm. Concretely, the dimension of the upper side metal roll 5 is 985 mm, while that of the lower side metal roll 5 is 1,200 mm. It is sufficient is only in the portion pinched between the metal rolls 5, the upper and lower metal rolls 5 is opposite to each other. |
