PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manufacture a spherical lens having a high sphericity of a low cost. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for manufacturing a spherical lens made of a photo-setting resin comprises a supply means 2 for supplying an uncured substance 3 of the photo-setting resin, a container 4 for containing a support medium 5 for statically resting the substance 3, and a curing means 6 for curing the substance 3. The medium 5 has a specific gravity substantially equal to that of the substance 3 at a curing temperature of the substance 3. And, as the medium 5, a liquid at the atmospheric pressure is preferable. And, the means 6 is preferably constituted to uniformly illuminate the substance 6 with a light. |
