PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizer, with which high pressure and high output hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic controlling valves, hydraulic pipings and the like become unnecessary and, at the same time, a thicker bolster plate becomes unnecessary and, furthermore, a mold thickness adjusting device can be dispensed with, resulting in allowing to reduce its cost of equipment. SOLUTION: This tire vulcanizer is equipped with a bolster plate 4, which can be vertically movable by being guided with a guide strut 3 disposed in upright at the central part of a base plate 100 and to which the top mold portion Ma of a tire mold M, a plurality of tire rods 6, one end of each of which is fixed to the bolster plate 4 and the other end of each of which is detachable fixed to the base plate 100, pressurizing chambers 100a, which are arranged right and left of the base plate 100 and to which a pressure medium is supplied, and pressurizing piston plates 101 respectively arranged vertically movably in the pressurizing chambers 100a so as to clamp the tire mold M between the pressurizing piston plates 101 and the bolster plate 4. |
