The invention relates to a method for purification hydrogen peroxide (1) by extraction, wherein a) an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide containing impurities (1) is brought into contact with a solvent (4) which contains at least one substance dissolving impurities, for transferring the impurities from the aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide to the solvent, and b) the aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide (2), from which impurities have been removed, is separated from the solvent and recovered. Said substance which dissolves impurities is in a supercritical state.
