<p>A maintenance management section receives a signal representing the state of each part of an elevator from an elevator control section. A time limit discriminating section compares a clock with a checking timetable. When the present time approaches or is past a checking time, the time limit discrimination section performs the processing preset in the table. The processing is the one to cause the elevator to make an indication for restricting the use of the elevator, for example, the one to stop the normal display for a predetermined time. When the checking is finished, the next checking time in the checking timetable is written. Therefore, the caretaker of the elevator is prompted to do the maintenance check with no additional special display means, and without giving users a lot of trouble that the operation of the elevator is stopped without notice.</p> |
