PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display one image obtained by synthesizing a morphology image and a measuring image to be restored to original two kinds of images without any partial omission of the morphology information by constructing a synthesizing means by allocating the pixel values of all pixels based on both of the morphology information and the measuring information. SOLUTION: This ultrasonograph is provided with a B/W unit 3 for processing a received wave signal received by a transmitting/receiving section 2, generating a fault image (morphology image) indicating the structure (morphology) of a soft organ in section, converting the same into the type of a standard TV scanning signal and then outputting it and a color unit 4 for processing a plurality of received wave signals received by the transmitting/receiving section 2, generating the two-dimensional distribution (speed image) of information regarding the speed of a moving body such as a blood flow or the muscle of a heart, alternatively an index related to the speed, converting the same into the type of a standard TV scanning signal and then outputting it. A morphology image signal outputted from the B/W unit 3 and a speed image signal outputted from the color unit 4 are supplied to a synthesizing section 5 and synthesized into one image. |
