PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw capable of efficiently carrying out exchange work of ingot in a narrow space in the case of prividing a plural number of the wire saws in parallel. SOLUTION: Exchange work of ingot 30 is carried out from above a cover 34 through an opening by forming the opening for deposit and delivery of the ingot 30 on an upper surface of the cover 34 to cover a treatment chamber 17 in which a grooved roller 18 of an wire saw 10 is set. Consequently, even when a setting interval of the wire saws 10 is narrowed, it is possible to simultaneously carry out the exchange work of the ingot 30 by the adjacent wire saws 10. Consequently, even when the setting interval between the wire saws 10, it is possible to efficiently carry out the exchange work of the ingot 30. |
