PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an optical scanner. SOLUTION: A laser unit 12 emitting a laser beam L, a polygon mirror 13 deflecting the laser beam L from the unit 12 and making it scan, and an image-formation lens 15(16) made of a synthetic resin for forming the laser beam L from the mirror 13 into an image are housed in an optical box 11. The lens 15(16) is provided with projections 35 and 45 for positioning in the longitudinal direction with respect to the optical box 11 in the center in the longitudinal direction on concave surfaces 32 and 42 side, so that space in direction X is reduced and the scanner is miniaturized. |
