摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a gas meter adaptable to meters in different sizes by combining a measuring part unit in which a flow velocity sensor is installed to the wall surface of a channel with a predetermined diameter, an electric circuit unit, an inlet and outlet piping part unit according to the flow rate in gas usage. SOLUTION: The gas meter 1 has units of an inlet piping part 3, an electric circuit part 2, an outlet piping part 17, and a measuring part 13. The inlet piping part 3 comprises a mouthpiece 9 to be connected to upstream piping and takes gas into the gas meter 1 as indicated by an arrow 11. Gas passed through the mouthpiece 9 is passed through a pipe and introduced to the measuring part 13. In addition, the inlet piping part 3 comprises a shut-off valve 4, can be divided at a dotted line AA, is provided with the mouthpiece 9, the shut-off valve 4, etc., adapted to the size of a meter, and is combined with other units to constitute the gas meter 1. The gas meter 1 uses a heating coil- type flow velocity sensor to widen the range of sizes applicable by the same-size measuring part 13.</p>
