<p>The present invention pertains to the field of energy conversion devices and may be used as an internal combustion engine or as a compressor. The device of the present invention comprises a plurality of pistons arranged in the annular chamber of a body. The pistons are mounted so as to be capable of rotation at a variable angle speed about the geometrical axis of the body. Each piston is connected to the main shaft of the device through a transmission system. The shaft is mounted so as to be capable of rotation about its own axis, wherein the shaft axis and the geometrical axis of the body define an angle relative to each other. The transmission system synchronises the movement between the main shaft of the device and each of the pistons and may have various forms.</p> |
