<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the starting of the device by applying a preliminary load to the device, as well as to prevent the attrition of the device by reducing the differential back clearance of this spiral gear type differential gear. SOLUTION: An assembly type of spacer means is provided between the axles 12 and 14 of the differential gear, and between the side gears 16 and 18. The spacer means consists of a C-shape outer spacer part 46, a core part 48, and a fastening screw part 50 to connect both members, and its approached into the device from the lateral direction approach opening 69 of a housing main body part 2a, and provided by assembling, so as to maintain the respective intervals between the side gears, and between the axles. Spring means 60 and 61 which consist of numerous disk springs 64 and tab washers 62 are provided respectively on the axles contacting to the side gears, and a preliminary load is applied to the side gears.</p> |
