PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately position a frictional wheel supporting member and a piston by absorbing the deformation of the frictional wheel supporting member at an abutting part between the frictional wheel supporting member and the piston to prevent the transfer of the deformation to the piston side; and by preventing malinstallation. SOLUTION: Upwardly, downwardly moving a trunnion 86 through a shaft 86d by a piston 108a offsets a power roller on the trunnion to tilt and roll the trunnion owing to the component of a force from an input and output disk, resulting in continuously variable transmission control. The power roller tries to deform the trunnion by means of snapping and pressing force from the input and output disk. To prevent displacement even by thrust force received from the input and output disk, the end of the trunnion is connected through a link; abutting curved surfaces 86fe, 108e are set at the abutting part between the trunnion and the piston to allow oscillation in the thrust direction of the trunnion; and a notch 108f is provided at the lower end of the piston to position the trunnion and the piston. |
