摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gatepost to which a rain sensor can be attached in a low execution cost and which makes inconspicuous the installed position of the rain sensor in a garden. SOLUTION: A gatepost installed in an exterior of a building such as a residence is provided with a rain sensor 2 detecting whether raindrops has fallen on the gatepost body 1 or not, solar battery panels 3, and a charging device 4 charged by the output of the solar battery panels 3. Feeding is effected from the charging device 4 to the rain sensor 2 and information of rain detected by the rain sensor 2 is transmitted to an indication device 8 in the building through a wireless communication circuit.
