PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fitting an electrophotographic photoreceptor to an image device which is press-fitted in the state that the center line of a drum is always brought into line with the axes of flanges, without impairing the roundness at the ends of the drum after fitting. SOLUTION: In a device provided with a fitting part on the surface of a cylindrical body having a central penetrating hole whose front diameter is made to have a smaller diameter making a boundary of the stepped part, and further consisting of a pair of flanges 1 made of synthetic resin provided with an inclined surface at the front end part of the fitting part, and in one of them, the grounded flange fixed with an earth--late having a plurality of pointed terminals in front of the fitting part is fitting an electrophotographic photoreceptor drum; the device is provided with drum supports 55, a pair of press-fitting jigs opposed to both ends of a drum 3 for pressedly fitting the fitting part of the flange 1 to the opening end of the drum, and a means for driving the press-fitting jig on one side; and the press-fitting jig is provided with contact surfaces 62, 62' for contacting with the rear end surfaces of the flanges, and horizontally projected fitting pins 61, 61' having nearly the same outside diameter as the inside diameter of the central penetrating holes of the flanges. |
