摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high-definition image on a display without damaging generality of a teaching pendant with display even when the transmission distance of video signals is extended. SOLUTION: Concerning this robot device, a video signal generating circuit 33 is provided on the side of a controller 2 and parallel digital signals outputted from this circuit are converted into serial digital signals by a video signal converting circuit 35 and transmitted to the side of a teaching pendant 3. On the side of the teaching pendant 3, the serial digital signals are converted into parallel video signals again by a video signal converting circuit 36 and displayed on a display 16. Since the video signal generating circuit 33 is provided on the side of the controller 2, even when any new function is added to the controller 2, an image corresponding to that new function can be displayed from the video signal generating circuit 33 onto the display 16. Further, since the video signals composed of digital signals are transmitted from the side of the controller 2 to the side of the teaching pendant 3, even when the transmission distance is long, the high-definition image can be displayed on the display 16.</p>
