The work bench consists of a working platform (1), with a protractor (5), fitted centrally on its upper surface. The radial lines from the protractor are projected towards the outer edge of the platform. A threaded rod (6) is fixed to the bench by screws (7,8) and carries the guide (10), to which is attached the end of the blade of the chain saw, in such a manner that it can move vertically from 0 to 90 deg and 0 to 180 deg in a lateral sweep.
