PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flameproof mats and a flameproof resin composition for use as a molding material of the flameproof mats that generate no toxic gas, has good heat resistance and can meet a test for flammability without adding a flame retardant agent. SOLUTION: A flameproof resin composition comprises as the main components 20-85 wt.% at least one thermoplastic resin selected from a polyolefin, an olefin copolymer, a polyolefinic thermoplastic elastomer and a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and 80-15 wt.% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 5-30 wt.%. Mats formed from the flameproof resin composition exhibit excellent flameproofness and heat resistance. |
