PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply solidify muddy water by a method wherein after a linear polymer prepd. by polymerizing tetraethoxysilane in the presence of an acid is mixed with the muddy water, a basic inorg. compd. is added. SOLUTION: Muddy water is solidified by a method wherein after a linear polymer prepd. by polymerizing tetraethoxysilane in the presence of an acid is mixed with the muddy water, a basic inorg. compd. is added. Here, the acid is an inorg. acid and the basic inorg. compd. is at least one selected from a group consisting of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. Thereby muddy water can be simply solidified without problem in the points of environment, economy and execution. |
