PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize the attenuating function, polarizing function, scattering function and light-shielding function, etc., of irradiation light, including laser beams and natural light by making a dichroic coloring matter itself hardened, while keeping a prescribed direction. SOLUTION: On the plane of a substrate 1, a dichroic coloring matter 3 is fixed. One (a) for which the long axis of the dichroic coloring matter 3 is oriented vertically to the substrate 1 does not polarize a part or all of the irradiation light, including a laser beam and passes it through as it is or by attenuating it. One (b) for which an angle formed with the substrate 1 in the long axis of the dichroic coloring matter 3 is arranged and oriented at a prescribed angle, polarizes the irradiation light, including the laser beam in the prescribed direction. Similarly, one (c) for which the angle formed with the substrate 1 in the long axis is not arranged at the specified angle, scatters a part or all of the irradiation light including the laser beam. Also, one (d) for which the large parts or all of the long axis is oriented in parallel with the substrate 1, shields a part or all of the irradiation light including the laser beam. |
