The invention relates to a method for producing a solar cell module, comprising a transparent cover element (1) preferably made of glass, a rear cover element (2) and a solar element (3), said method involving: the solar element (3) being positioned between the transparent cover element (1) and the rear cover element (2) in such a way that, in an edge region (5), both the transparent cover element (1) and the rear cover element (2) extend beyond a lateral edge of the solar element (3); positioning an edge strip (4) in the edge region (5), wherein at least parts of the edge strip (4) are made of a magnetisable material; and, for the purpose of sealing the edge region (5), heating the edge strip (4) by means of electrical induction so intensely that at least a portion of the edge strip (4) melts and joins to both the transparent cover element (1) and the rear cover element (2). In this way, a very robust and long-lasting solar cell module is obtained, and a reduced energy output is required during production. |
