PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which can efficiently maintain the freshness of vegetables and deodorize the vegetables, by attaching a humidity adjusting cover to a vegetable container housed in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator, and providing a filter member which exhibits both a freshness maintaining effect and a deodorizing effect against the vegetables through the cover. SOLUTION: A transparent partition body 24 is arranged between the cold storage compartment and vegetable compartment 16 of a refrigerator, so that the inside of the compartment 16 may be seen from the front side of the cold storage compartment. In addition, a vegetable container 28 covered with a transparent crisper cover 29 is integrally arranged with the pulling-out door 16a of the compartment 16 in a state where the container 28 can be pulled out. In addition, a filter member 100 is attached to the cover 29 at an angle αof 30-40 deg. in such a state that the upper section of the member 100 is protruded from the cover 29 and the lower section of the member 100 is housed in the vegetable container 28. Therefore, the vegetables housed in the vegetable compartment 16 can be efficiently maintained in fresh states and deodorized and, at the same time, the filter member 100 and a usable time limit indicating member can be confirmed easily from the front side of the cold storage compartment. |
