<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to easily select a preferred video image in a range permitted by a sender of the video stream in the transmission reception system where the video streams including scene descriptions are processed. SOLUTION: A video stream decoder 204 is provided with a means 101 that demultiplexes a video stream to decode a video stream including one or more scene descriptions that are expressed in data of an object-coded image or audio signal and in data of object-coded contents of the scene, means 102, 103 that decode data of an object-coded image, means 104, 105 that decode data of an object-coded audio signal, a means 110 that synthesizes the images, and a means 107 that analyzes the scene description, and also with a means 106 that selects any of the scene descriptions of the video stream including at least two or more scene descriptions.</p> |
