<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile headlight capable of forming a left or right traveling low beam by simply and instantaneously changing not only the same reflecting surface but also the same type lamp. SOLUTION: In this headlight, a lamp 10 and a reflecting mirror 20 are included and lamp shading bands 13, 14, 17, 18 extend along its axis and occupy intervals in the predetermined angular direction on both sides of its arc. The shading bands 13, 14, 17, 18 are arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis surface. and the reflecting mirror 20 is symmetrical with respect to the plane perpendicular to its axial direction and includes at least one pair of first regions 21, 22 which form a first beam part by horizontal cut and two upward light regions 23b, 24b which form a second beam part forming two different beams by supplementing the first beam part individually and selectively. The lamp 10 and the shading bands 13, 14, 17, 18 select one of the two angular positions capable of directing either of the upward light regions to the light source.</p> |
