<p>The reproducing speed of a speech reproducing device is automatically controlled in place of a document creating person according to the document creating speed of the document creating person, and consequently the load of the operation of the speech reproducing device on the document creating person during transcribing is lightened. The time elapsing from the start of the reproduction at a normal speed of the speech reproducing device (7) is measured (S10). The number of key-typings Ma while using a document creating application software (2) is measured during the time measurement (S12). When it is judged that the elapsed time exceeds predetermined Na seconds (S14), the number of key-typings Ma for every Na seconds is compared with a predetermined value ka (S18). If the number of key-typings Ma for every Na seconds is smaller than the predetermined value ka, it is judged that the document creating speed cannot follow up the reproduced speech speed, and then a signal for lowering the reproducing speed is outputted to a speed reproducing device (7) (S22).</p> |
