PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily guide the line of sight to an intended position on a CRT screen. SOLUTION: This flicker display method comprises converting the display color of a screen display data to a flicker display color corresponding to the state of each facility to be monitored based on flicker display color definition data, renewing the RGB value of a periodically inputted flicker display color definition data, outputting the result as a display color pallet data, and flicker displaying a flicker intended facility symbol and an abnormal facility symbol with two or more colors different from the background color.
