PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the phase angle of a cam shaft is provided to save manufacturing cost, reduce measuring time, and simplify the measuring process. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes a main body of a constant length, a supporting member for supporting a cam shaft horizontally, a clamping member for clamping a reference cam among plural cams of the cam shaft at a predetermined angle, a first measuring element mounted on one end of the main body and for measuring the location of a first location hole formed on one end of the cam shaft at a predetermined phase angle longitudinally with respect to the cam, and a second measuring element mounted on the other end of the main body and for measuring the location of a second location hole formed on the other end of the cam shaft in a diagonal direction of the shaft.
