IMPACT BUFFER MATERIAL FOR SHOES AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact buffer material for shoes which achieves not only excellent impact buffer performance but also a limited number of required parts. SOLUTION: The whole or a part of this impact buffer material for shoes is made of a foam material. The foam material has a silicon modified ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer dispersed in an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer forming a matrix. Thus, excellent impact buffer performance is obtained and the material is used favorably as midsoles of canvas shoes or shoes member such as insoles.
