PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and accurate feeding of air during the supply of a fuel. SOLUTION: This portable fuel-using appliance is provided with a fuel injection part 3 on the top part of a fuel tank 2 to inject a fuel inside, an air supplying part 4 to supply air inside and a fuel feeding part to feed a fuel containing air to a combustion part. An air valve 5 is provided at a cap 4b of an air supply part 4 comprising an air pipe 4a with a large diameter and the cap 4b to close an opening part of the air pipe 4a. The air valve 5 is identical to those provided for tires of automobiles and bicycles, equipped with a check valve to be opened for the supply of air and in the normal operation, the check valve works to prevent the leakage of air. This enables simple and accurate supply of air to a fuel tank through the air supply part and also accomplishes it in a shorter time. The supply of air thus made possible requires the conventional tools alone, not any special tools, hence achieving excellence in ease of handling.
