<p>The receiver comprises an evaluation unit which determines the quality of the stations received through a background tuner, and a unit which determines the station with the best quality. An operating element is provided, which causes the tuner to be switched to the station with the best reception quality. A segmented display is provided. One segment of displays the label of the currently received station, and another displays the label of the station with the best reception quality The receiver comprises a casing, in which two tuners, one active tuner and one background tuner are arranged, whereby the background tuner is controlled by means of a control unit, in such way, that the received frequency range is scanned for receivable stations. A quality evaluation unit determines the quality of the stations received through the background tuner, and a unit determines the station with the best quality. An amplifier stage amplifies the received audible radio signals after processing through the active tuner, and provides them at an output connected to loudspeakers. An operating element is provided, at whose activation the tuner is switched to the station with the best quality. A display is provided, divided in segments, of which one displays the label of the currently received station, and another displays the label of the station with the best quality, whereby the segment for the display of the label of the station with the best quality is arranged nearby the operating element.</p> |
