<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a label switching path setting method capable of renewing a label switching path without retrying label setting. SOLUTION: If a node receiving a path setting request message including a flow identifier and a message identifier to identify a message processed, with respect to the flow in a network cannot discriminate whether or not a path can form a loop, the node stores an identifier of the message and the flow to be those under processing and transfers the request message to a node on the flow path. If the node receiving the request message confirms no loop forming, the node returns a reply message with respect to the message and the node receiving the reply message stores input side/output side link information corresponding to this flow as a setup path and transfers this reply message to the node under transmission/transfer processing.</p> |
