The reactor shells have a double-walled structure which is supplied with cooling air or hot gases, and serve for heat exchange purposes. Thermal treatment takes place in one or more rotating tubular or centrifugal reactors (4, 10, 17, 21) which are joined to one another, are driven at critical speeds and fulfill different tasks. The inner walls of such reactors have a wave like geometric form, while their inclination and speed of rotation are stepless adjustable. The reactors are joined to one another in such a way that loss-free material and gas paths are formed, while cooling and heating of different reactor parts take place simultaneously.
|
