PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound giving influence on interaction between cell and cell, or cell and matrix and useful for the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases (esp. neoplasm, tumor metastasis, or the like) due to the binding disorder of adhesive protein to vitronectin receptor. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [R1 is a group of formula II or the like; R2 is a group of formula III; R3 is H or the like; R4 is H or the like; R5 and R6 are each H or the like; R9 is H or the like; R10 is an aryl or the like; A is carbonyl or the like; B is H or the like; (a) and (j) are each 0-2; (b) is 0-4; (c), (d), (f), (g), (i), (k)-(m) are each 0 or 1; (e) is 0-3; (h) is 0-5; (e)+(h)+(j)=2-7; (a)≠0 when R1 is NH2] and is pref. rac-[3-[(2- guanidino-4-methyl-thiazol-5-carbonyl)-amino]-benzoylamino]-3-phenyl-p ropionic acid hydrochloride or the like. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula IV with a compound of formula V (R03 is an alkyl or the like).
