<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a computer system which can move a cursor in a desired direction by moving the housing itself of a gripped system main body. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 1 detects static acceleration with respect to gravity along the X axis and Y axis on a plane supposed to cross the gravitational direction at right angles and outputs an X-axial acceleration detection signal (a) and a Y-axial acceleration detection signal (b) showing the static acceleration with respect to gravity along the X and Y axes. A conversion part 2 detects the rotation of the housing of the system main body by interpreting the X-axial acceleration detection signal (a) and Y-axial acceleration detection signal (b) and generates and transfers to a system controller 3 information for moving the cursor in a direction (wherein the user feels the movement of the cursor under the influence of the gravity) beforehand made to correspond to the detected direction of the rotation.</p> |
